odds and ends...

• our Triumph TR4 (Paula & Michael from Germany) encountered their first setback when they had a breakdown in the Karoo...
• Ron & Wendy have been unable to track their kombi... the shipping company isn't great stating that its a week behind and expected sometime in Cape Town this week - lets keep hoping!!
• Roger had to have a tooth pulled at the last minute
• Tor & Sarah's Peugot 404 also didn't make it too far out of the workshop - Servo assisted brakes failed and the car went to another workshop in Nairobi -Good luck, see you soon!
• Chris & Sandi probably had the biggest inconvenience of all - the DHL bakkie couriering their passports was highjacked!! This of all things at this late stage - its not the hassle of getting new passports but getting all the African visas reissued...
