We awoke to the call of the Iman and soon after the Catholic Church angelis. The men replaced the Dave`s altinator , which was a very complicated process. Our drive to Dar es Selaam was a rushed one, as we had to catch the hotel bus to the ferry for Zanzibar. The traffic into the city was crazy: no understandable traffic rules – for example, crossing roads with a red robot and the passing rule in Tansania is flicking your left back light to show that the road is clear, and not to pass if the driver in front indicates with a right light. The ferry trip was so comfortable as there was no strong wind – we chose to sit in the outside first class lounge, and watch the islands slowly appear. We travelled in a hotel bus to an amazing Ocean Paradise Hotel where we all relaxed.
