The start time was early because we had to drive from Hwange to Mlibizi to load the ferry .It was amazing to see 13 cars and 30 passengers embark from a steep road down to the dam and fit so snugly into the bowels of the ferry. We expect to arrive at Kariba the next day at 07h00. The passengers comfortably rested in adjustable seats and were amply supplied with tasty meals and an attentive bar service. A dive into the water was arranged later in the afternoon, and elephants were observed on the shore through binoculars.
