Kariba to north of Lusaka: We were fascinated to learn how the dam was built and crossed at the Kariba border crossing where our Zambian agent had the Comesa 3rd party insurance prepared. Walter poured water onto the radiator and noted the fan was not switching on, which he adjusted at our next sleepover stop at the Protea Hotel. 15k north of Lusaka. We enjoyed a quick stopover in the new Manda Hill mall in Lusaka on the Great East Road, the men savoured Mosi beers, the famous Zambian lager, named after the Mosi-oa-Tuna (vic falls)!
